U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force-Europe 20.1, Marine Forces Europe and Africa, climb a hill during a squad attack on range Lima in Giskås, Norway, Feb. 8, 2020. The ranges provided an opportunity to continue building their proficiency and lethality, while demonstrating how they can fight in every clime and place. MRF-E focuses on regional engagements throughout Europe by conducting various exercises, arctic cold-weather and mountain-warfare training, and military-to-military engagements, which enhance overall interoperability of the U.S. Marine Corps with allies and partners.
