U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) say goodbye to family and friends during the unit's departure from Camp Lejeune, N.C., to embark on a deployment at sea Feb. 6, 2018. The MEU Marines and Sailors are deploying to support maritime security operations, crisis response and theater security cooperation, while also providing a forward expeditionary naval presence in Europe and the Middle East.
