(Aug. 31, 2017) U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), II Marine Expeditionary Force, work with Sailors and prepare supplies, motor transport vehicles and logistic supplies aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) at Naval Station Norfolk, Va. Approximately 690 Marines from the 26th MEU, embarked aboard Kearsarge as part of prudent measures in anticipation of future tasking to support relief in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.
