U.S. Marines with the Black Sea Rotational Force observe the national anthems of the United States of America and Georgia during the opening ceremony of exercise Agile Spirit on Vaziani Training Area in Georgia, March 13, 2012. AS 12 is a combined military exercise involving more than 300 Marines and the Georgian Armed Forces focused on increasing interoperability between the forces and enhance each other’s capacity in counterinsurgency and peacekeeping operations, including small unit tactics, convoy operations, and counter-Improvised Explosive Device training.
