Summary
Significance: It was associated with the joint Army-Navy fuel reserve system developed following the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Fuel storage and dispensing systems were of the utmost importance during the war, and the Army and Navy employed a system for storing both aviation and motor fuel with a complex network of pumping stations, pipelines, and fueling docks. Facility No. 9 was one of the main buildings at the Ewa Junction part of the network, and retained enough integrity and significance to warrant documentation.

The train station image dataset is picked from the world's largest public domain archive. Made in two steps - first, curated set, followed by running 25 Million public domain images through image recognition, it comprises more than 50,000 train station images from all countries and times. All images are in the public domain, so there are no restrictions on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, and commercial.

All large image sets on Picryl.com are made in two steps: First, we picked a set to train AI vision to recognize the feature, and after that, we ran all 25M+ images in our database through an image recognition machine. As usual, all media in the collection belong to the public domain. There is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
