description

Summary

Significance: This property has a historic association with the establishment of the first radio station at Pearl Harbor. it served as a residence for the chief operators of the radio station until the radio towers were moved to a new location. Its architecture is a simple vernacular cottage style that is compatible with, but less refined than, the Craftsman style seen in other houses in the neighborhood. The radio station residences have always been considered part of the Hospital Point neighborhood, especially since the relocation of the radio towers in 1937.

As usual, all media in the collection belong to the public domain. There is no limitation on the dataset usage - educational, scientific, or commercial.
