U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Sarah Brandt, a master at arms assigned to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, fires an M-9 pistol during the marksmanship portion of the German Armed Forces Badge for military proficiency, at the Arta Range Complex, Djibouti, June 12, 2019. Competing for the badge offered a unique opportunity for joint personnel from Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and Camp Lemonnier, and also works as an information exchange between the U.S. and German militaries.
