US Navy (USN) Constructionman SEAMAN Michael Jackson (foreground), assigned to Alpha Company, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion One (NMCB-1), helps to fill a portable potable water tank, at the South Mississippi Kidney Center located in North Gulfport, Mississippi (MS), during Hurricane Katrina disaster assistance relief operations. The center is currently treating more than 300 dialysis patients with the use of emergency generators. The USN is assisting in humanitarian assistance operations, led by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in conjunction with the Department of Defense (DOD)
