US Navy (USN) Lieutenant Junior Grade (LTJG) Jeremy Arnott oversees flightdeck operations from Primary Flight Control area aboard the USN Wasp Class Amphibious Assault Ship USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7) while underway on the Atlantic Ocean. The ship departed Naval Air Station (NAS) Norfolk, Virginia (VA) to join other military assets as part of Joint Task Force (JTF) Katrina to bring much-needed supplies and relief efforts to Gulf Coast states ravaged by Hurricane Katrina.
