U.S. Soldiers and British Royal Marines conduct a medevac response exercise during Saber Strike 17 at Kazlu Ruda Air Base, Lithuania, June 18, 2017. Saber Strike 17 is a U.S. Army Europe-led multinational combined forces exercise conducted annually to enhance the NATO alliance throughout the Baltic region and Poland. This year's exercise includes integrated and synchronized detterence oriented training designed to improve interoperability and readiness of the 20 participating nations' militaries.
