U.S. Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 141st Infantry Regiment (1-141 IN), Texas Army National Guard, deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA), prepare for night tactics training near Djibouti, Feb. 18, 2019. The mission of the 1-141 IN is to rapidly deploy in response to any crisis threatening U.S. personnel or property throughout CJTF-HOA, and to contribute to international efforts to enhance security and stability in East Africa by providing security force assistance and fostering the capabilities of partner nations.
