Title: Multimedia Production Specialist

Female Conservation Hero or Mentor: Rachel Carson. She was an amazing communicator who was able to shine a light on the environment that made people care about the things that were happening.
Where did you go to school: Undergrad: Marietta College (Ohio), Graduate: American University (Washington, D.C)
What did you study? I studied Political Science and Radio/Television at Marietta, I have a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Electronic Media from American University
How did you get interested in conservation? My grandfather was an avid outdoorsman - hunting, fishing, camping. Though I didn’t have the opportunity to do those things with him as much as I would have liked, he helped me see the beauty in nature and the outdoors. When I’m at work, I feel a little closer to him, and I think he’d be proud of the work I do.

If you could have one incredible animal adaptation, what would it be? Flying. Absolutely, hands down, I want to be able to jump up and take off. Think of the views!
