Capt. Andrew Sevald, commanding officer of USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), salutes a Japanese kindergartner who presented him with flowers during a ceremony welcoming the ship upon its arrival here April 14. Also presented flowers were Commander, Amphibious Force 7th Fleet, Rear Adm. Rick Ruehe (right)--who is representing 7th Fleet commander Vice Adm.
