USS MAKIN ISLAND, At Sea (OCTOBER 28, 2016) - Marines attending the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Corporals Course, execute trunk twists during physical training aboard the USS Makin Island (LHD-8), Oct. 28, 2016. Marines conducted an hour of squad physical training, which consisted of: crunches, leg lifts, flutter kicks, and trunk twists, to strengthen their core.
