Pearl Harbor (September 2, 2017) Members of the Navy League Cadet Corps raise the colors aboard The Battleship Missouri Memorial. Missouri will commemorate the end of WWII aboard the Mighty Mo's fantail in historic Pearl Harbor. More than 2,000 sailors silently witnessed the formal surrender of Imperial Japan to the Allied Forces teak wood deck of the USS Missouri 72 years ago on September 2, 1945, solidifying peace in the Pacific after years of devastating war.
