Veterans and Air Force Brig. Gen. Kenneth S. Wilsbach, right, render salutes after presenting a wreath donated by Veterans of Foreign War Post 9723 for the National prisoner of war and missing in action Recognition Day ceremony at Kadena Air Force Base Sept. 21. The ceremony, which is observed annually on the third Friday of September, paid respects and recognized the service members who never returned home from war or were captured. The ceremony was held by the 18th Wing Headquarters, KAB.
