Umbrella Plant. Cyperus Alternifolius Gracilis. A beautiful umbrella-shaped and one of the most satisfactoryplants for house culture, either in window, ferneryor aquarium. It is more dwarf and the leaves nar-rower than the old variety. Plants each, 20 cents. CAREX JIPONICA VARIEGATI. A new Japanese grass which has proved a veryuseful and ornamental addition for the house. It canbe planted in garden during the summer, if desired,or will make an attraction standing on the piazza.Seems to enjoy the atmosphere of living rooms. Plants each, 20 cents ,\ three jo cents. J A new centaurea, which is quite different from allother varieties, and one of the most beautiful. Theplants grow about eighteen inches high, flowers arelarge, pure white and sweet-scented, growing on longstems, which makes them desirable for cutting.
