NORFOLK (Oct. 28, 2013) Vietnamese Senior Lt. Gen. Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, receives a capabilities brief from Capt. Erich Diehl, commodore of Coastal Riverine Group 2, during a tour of Naval Expeditionary Combat Command elements. Vinh and his official party visited the Norfolk area for various tours and briefings prior to the annual U.S. and Vietnam Defense Policy Dialogue which focuses on promoting greater maritime cooperation.
