There is a long grain warehouse on the seawall, and the masts of a full rigger alongside can be seen at the far right. A bark and a number of coasting schooners are at anchor in the stream, and two ferries from the Marin shore are heading for the San Francisco landing. In the distance, in Richardson Bay, more ships are at anchor awaiting grain cargoes. Alcatraz Island is in the right center of the picture. Taber photograph. (Courtesy Bancroft Library.)".
