Walker Chowns hugs his father at the US Air Force (USAF) 8th Air Force (8AF) Museum, Barksdale Air Force Base (AFB), Louisiana (LA). Walker, suffers from a brain tumor, went through a specialized "Pilot for a Day" program, including a B-52 simulator ride, sitting in the pilots seats of a USAF A-10 Thunderbolt II and USAF B-52 Stratofortress aircraft, plus a tour of the new air traffic control tower.
