Robert French - Wanted Dead or Alive

Another visit to Sligo Town but with a very different view and skyline to that of our visit to "The Quays"! With the detritus of a recent market lying about it doesn't look very attractive but Sligo - the town and especially the county are much underrated! The welcome is warm, the scenery is stunning and the food is first class. But who is wanted and why?..Several contributors pointed-out that we've visited this stretch of Market Street before ( ...nlireland/9182730208/ ) , and had dated the statue (which replaced this lamppost) to c.1899. Putting this image before that date. In terms of the subject of the "Wanted" poster, the general consensus is that its a tailoring business (Clinchy's) who are seeking journeymen tailors.
