WASHINGTON D.C. (Feb. 4, 2019) United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green meets with the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize co-winner Nadia Murad Basee Taha. Nadia Murad was awarded the 2018 Nobel Peace alongside Dr. Denis Mukwege for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict worldwide. USAID is striving to provide humanitarian assistance to those in need, while also working to achieve greater development outcomes, and assist communities on their journey to self-reliance.
