Coast Guard recruits from Hotel Company 189 march to morning colors through approximately six inches of snow with a wind chill of about one degree at Training Center Cape May, N.J., Jan. 29, 2014. The Coast Guard uses Training Center Cape May as its only enlisted basic training facility because of its diverse weather conditions, which helps better prepare recruits for the rigors of service in the Coast Guard.
