VELVET PLANT. Gynura Aurantiaca. VELVET PLANT. Velvet Plant seems an appro- priate name, the leaves being always taken as artificial. They and the stems are entirely cov- ered with purple hairs. Shin- ing-glistening, reflecting many new colors. Any change of position appears to alter the color of the foliage. A grand plant. Of easiest growth. Price, 50 cents per dozen: $3.00 per 100. MANETTIA BI-COLOR. A rapid and beautiful new climber. The flowers are from an inch to an inch and a half in length, of the most intense scarlet, shading into flame, tipped with bright golden-yel- low, and are covered with a thick scarlet moss. This va- riety must not be confounded with the old Manettia-Cordi- folia, as it is far superior to the old variety. Price, 50 cents per dozen; $3.00 per 100.
