Hectic scene. Numerous loaded horse-drawn carts. Partially in view are the inter-island steamers CLAUDINE, KINAU, and HELENE. Information attached to the back of the large print: "Steamer Day at Wilder's Wharf. The Activity--Feverish and Frenzied. At the turn of the century Wilder's wharf presented a turmoil of activity when steamer day arrived. Here freight of varied description awaits loading aboard the Inter-Island steamers. CLAUDINE (left), KINAU (center) and HELENE (right) from low and high bed horse and mule drawn drays while impatient passengers (background) prepare to board the KINAU. Date 1900.
