Willamsburg, Virginia. The capitol of the Virginia colony during the eighteenth century which was reconstructed and restored to its original state by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. during the 1930s. The capitol, originally erected in 1701-1705, was the meeting place of the Virginia General Assembly and General Court and is flying the old type of British flag, with the permission of England and the United States
