Woman's Short Robe (China), 19th century (CH 18449513)

Short coat of dark blue silk satin, embroidered with clusters of flowers and butterflies in multicolored silks. Neckband, sleeve bands and bottom border are of white satin with floral embroidery, edged with black satin. Lined with pale orange silk.
