Dr. Donald Davenport, special economic consultant for the S.E.C., told the Monopoly Committee yesterday, with the aid of large charts, that New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut have 37.8 billions of dollars laid up in savings, this amount being 67 percent of the total savings of the United States
