ATLANTIC OCEAN (July 17, 2011) - Coast Guard Petty Officers Buddy Gavisk (LEFT) and James Haurand (RIGHT) hold fishing nets for Senegalese marine Petty Officer 2nd Class Cheikh S. Camara (CENTER) while he measures the net size during an African Maritime Law Enforcement Partnership (AMLEP) boarding mission with Coast Guard and Senegalese boarding teams. AMLEP is a branch of Africa Partnership Station (APS) that focus on operating side-by-side with regional maritime services in order to stop and deter illicit transnational maritime activity by conducting these operations with African navies.
