Thomas Joseph Dutton #3840 during World War I

I searched the Australian War Memorial and found a person by this exact name but a different number. He was from Charters Towers but family members believe this man enlisted on March 13, 1916 and then deserted after six weeks which would explain why I couldn't find his records...(From the Daniel Dutton collection of photos on www.facebook.com/VintageQueensland ( VintageQueensland )
