The Collier trophy is awarded to Uncle Sam's Department of Commerce for 1928. The Collier trophy, which is awarded annually by the National Aeronautic Association to the person or organization for the "greatest achievement in aviation in America, the value of which has been demonstrated by actual use during the preceding year" was presented to the United States Department of Commerce today by President Coolidge. The Aeronautics Branch of the Department of Commerce received the trophy because of its valuable contribution to the furtherance of civil aeronautics. Widow of noted flyer receive medal. 12/13/30, Mrs. Florence Shaw Page receives the Distinguished Flying Cross awarded posthumously to the late Capt. Arthur H. Page, U.S. Marines, for this "pioneering" scientific [...] and successful accomplishment in the art of blind flying." The particular flight for which he received the medal was from Omaha to Anacostia, D.C., the distance of 1,000 miles having been made by flying blind the entire distance in one day. Capt. Page was also noted for having won the Curtiss Marine Trophy Race last spring, flying the 100-mile course at an average of 164 miles an hour. He died from injuries received when his plane crashed during the Thompson Trophy Race at Chicago last September. In the photograph, left to right: Maj. General Ben H. My friends. Washington, D.C., April 7. A striking resemblance to President Roosevelt when the President was Assistant Secretary of War was noticed today when Ignatius M. Wilkinson, Dean of Law Faculty at Fordham, appeared on the stand at the Senate Judiciary hearing at the Capitol today. He presented a resolution signed by all of the lawyers on the faculty at the Law School at Fordham University against the President's Supreme Court bill, 4/7/1937

Prall, who died a few days ago at his home in Maine.
