HA Nathan Bardin, a US Navy Corpsman assigned to Camp Pendleton, California, left, bandages up a Somali orphan after cleaning a foot abrasion with peroxide. The orphanage is just outside of Mogadishu. US Navy and Air Force medical personnel met up with a civilian care group (not shown) to assist in giving check-ups to the children in the orphanage. Once word got out that there was a medical team in town, women from the local area started bringing their children (not shown). The team tried to see as many as possible, but supplies quickly ran out. This mission is in direct support of Operation Restore Hope
