Amboise: The famous old Chateau has been turned into a hospital by the French. It is one of the favorite haunts of the American soldiers in the vicinity, who never tire of examining the drive up inside the tower seen at the left, which was formerly the only entrance for horses from the village far below. In this village the American Red Cross has long maintained an oeuvre (sp?) which provided work for Belgian Refugees
