On the morning of 25 September 1996, Chambon School in Gallette Chambon, Haiti, held its Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The school was rebuilt by US Army soldiers from Alpha Company, 864th Engineer Battalion, Fort Lewis, Washington, during Operation FAIRWINDS.
