History of the Eagle, Globe and Anchor
The model 1937 Eagle, Globe and Anchor is one of the variations of the original design and adorned the utilities of Marines during World War II to help distinguish them from soldiers who wore a similar uniform.
Annual test no longer taken
Although recruits are still required to take the Marine Corps Common Skills test, Marines’ training will now center on more hands-on professional military education.
