Tornado - Joplin, Mo. , May 23, 2012 -- Lynn Onstot, Public Information Officer for the City of Joplin, speaks at the Longaberger Tree Dedication in Cunningham Park, Joplin, MO. The tree-dedication was part of Joplin's Day of Remembrance one year after a deadly tornado struck Joplin on May 22, 2011. The tornado killed 161 residents of Joplin, destroyed 25% of the town and generated $2. 2 billion in property damage. The tree-dedication recognized the planting of 40 trees donated by the Longaberger Foundation of Newark, Ohio.
