Hurricane/Tropical Storm - Bay St. Louis, Miss. , May 11, 2009 --The historic Second Street Elementary, damaged by Hurricane Katrina, may acquire a new use. Built in 1926, the Bay St. Louis-Waveland School District relocated the school after Katrina but recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with FEMA, MEMA and other stakeholders that stipulated how the district should proceed to find other uses for the building.
