A AN TPQ-36 radar system from the 161st Target Acquisition Battery of the Kansas National Guard, sits at the International Airport of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This system, manned by an eight soldier team, gathers information that deals with small arms weapons, mortars, artillery and rockets as well as many other sorts of weapons being fired. With the help of this system, they can determine where, when, at what time the weapon was fired as well as where the round is going to land and when it will do so. The team is in Sarajevo to support all local Implementation Force commanders and to warn them of any possible threat in their area, in support of Operation JOINT ENDEAVOR
