142nd Fighter Wing Warrior Spotlight

For the past year, Senior Airman Derek Bush, a knowledge operations manager, has been working together with Tech. Sgt. David Warner in the orderly room of the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron. Prior to taking on this new job, he spent eight years working in power production, six of those years with the 142nd Fighter Wing after nearly two years on active duty. A Northwest native, Bush is currently enrolled in the Airman Leadership School and working as a temporary technician since February of this year. On top of learning new computer programs and assisting others in his office, Bush thrives on being a problem solver for his commander, Lt. Col. Christopher Lantagne and assisting more than 200 other members of his squadron that need travel or other important paperwork processed correctly. (Air National Guard photo by Tech. Sgt.
