The event, which included more than 2,500 military personnel, veterans and invited guests, commemorated Japans formal surrender and included a missing man fly-over of F-16s by the Hawaii National Guard, a U.S. Marine Corps rifle salute and remarks by U.S. Pacific Fleet Commander, Adm.
