TURBO, COLOMBIA (Oct. 14, 2011) A Navy riverine patrol boat conducts amphibious assault exercise with the 2nd Amphibious Assault Battalion, Alpha Company, 2nd platoon, in support of Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station 2012 subject matter expert exchange mission. The Marines are embarked aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), which is participating in Southern Partnership Station, an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
