TURBO, Colombia (Oct. 10, 2011) Marines assigned to 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, Ground Combat Element, carry in supplies after landing in a training outpost in support of Southern Partnership Station 2012. The unit's arrival to Colombia is part of Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station subject matter expert exchange mission. The Marines are embarked aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Oak Hill (LSD 51), which is participating in Southern Partnership Station, an annual deployment of U.S. military training teams to the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility in the Caribbean and Latin America.
