A recruit of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, runs with ammunition cans during a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 20. This is part of the maneuver under fire portion of the event, which simulates supplying other Marines with ammunition in combat. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 21.
