A U.S. Army National Guard CH-47 Chinook helicopter from the Detachment 1, Company F, 106th Aviation Davenport, Iowa carries a sling load of the last HMMWV and water buffalo, along with U.S. flag that flew over the Kumaka site, airlifted back to Camp Stephenson, U.S. military engineers renovated the Kumaka Regional Hospital and improved the airstrip runway as part of this first combined humanitarian and civic assistance exercise conducted between the United States and Guyana. Military personnel from the Air Force, Air Force Reserve and National Guard, Army, Army National Guard and Marine Corps participated in the exercise which included engineering and medical readiness training
