Original Caption: The longest stretch of coquina rock outcroppings in the nation are located along the A1A beaches. Within the tidal pools, one may find crabs, small fish, sea stars, and sea snails, among others. Many birds also find the pools provide a great lunch, so it is an exciting bird-watching venue as well. Further south the least terns often nest along the beach. Loggerhead, green and leatherback turtles also nest on the corridor beaches.
