Airmen assigned to the 2nd Maintenance Group position an aircraft caddy to tow a B-52 Stratofortress during Global Thunder 19 at Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Oct. 31, 2018. Global Thunder is an exercise to test readiness and ensure a safe, secure, ready and reliable strategic deterrent force. The exercise provides training opportunities that assess all U.S. Strategic Command mission areas and joint and field training operational readiness, with a specific focus on nuclear readiness as well as providing unique training for assigned units and allies.
