“Boston was an incredible emotional experience,” said
Summary
“Boston was an incredible emotional experience,” said Col. Jack Mosher, Chief of Staff for the Maine Army National Guard. “It was the culmination of every marathon I’ve ever run. To have been at the Boston Marathon the year before, which I was and to see the tragedy that unfolded there, one year later only to see 1 million people standing in the streets, six people deep for 36 miles just screaming at the top of their lungs. To turn that corner going down Boylston Street and see the finish line ahead of you, was something I will never forget my whole life. It was incredible.” (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Sgt.
