LEOPARDESS AND YOUNG. Here is shown a Leopardess in repose, enjoying the playful sport of her young ones, yet keeping watch for anything that may endanger them, and at the same time for any luckless animal tnat may serve for a convenient meal. The spots on the fur are the main distinguishing feature of this animal, extending as they do from the round head and short neck to the tip of the long tail. The youngsters are having a good time, a characteristic of all Kittens whether they belong to Pussy or a stately Leopardess. (Fells tardus.)
