Photo date unknown. Pictured: Eliza Furlong Jakle, who was married to two American Camp soldiers. The first, Henry Bryant, drowned in the lagoon. Tragically, Eliza lost their second child running to San Juan Village for help. She later married George Jakle for whom the lagoon is named.
