Pictured: Rudolph Rosler with Harriet 'Tillie' Wotton Bellevue Rosler (previously married to Joseph Bellevue) and son Christopher pose with farmhands and friends in front of their home. They built this farmhouse on a 160-acre claim deeded to Rudolph by his mother, Anna Pike Rosler, which was located near the trailhead in the American Camp visitor center. Tillie was well-known for her elaborate gardens as well as colorful metaphors when she let her temper get the best of her.
